What we use

Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of data kept in your browser. selfslide uses strictly necessary ones, and Google Analytics only after you click Allow in the cookie banner. Nothing is used for advertising.

Cookies

  • PHPSESSID: keeps you signed in after Google sign-in. Deleted when you close the browser or log out. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax.
  • Google cookies on accounts.google.com: set by Google during Sign-in with Google, under Google's own policy.
  • _ga, _ga_1N0XV4GYPW: Google Analytics, set only after you allow analytics. Shows us where visitors come from and which pages they open. IP addresses are anonymised. Kept up to 2 years.

Browser storage (localStorage)

  • ss_lang: interface language you chose.
  • ss_slang_…: language a guest picked on the presentation screen.
  • ss_mini: whether the side panel in the dashboard is collapsed.
  • ss_key: studio access key, only on the owner's devices.
  • ss_consent: your choice in the cookie banner.

Third parties

Fonts (Google Fonts) and interface libraries (jsDelivr, cdnjs) load from their servers and see your IP address, but selfslide sets no cookies for them. Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) runs in Consent Mode: until you allow it, no analytics cookies are set. We use no advertising or social media pixels.

How to control it

You can change your analytics choice at any time with Cookie settings, or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Without the session cookie you will simply need to sign in again. Questions: hello@selfslide.com.
